Why we come to church
WORSHIP3WORD
 WALK

Each Sunday morning is a crucial time --- a divinely appointed hour (or so!) each week for Him to do something in our lives that shapes us for His eternal plan. Therefore, we are approaching each and every Sunday as a vital and important time --- the centerpiece of our church and the week. We have begun using the “W” sign as a reminder of what is going to happen at church every Sunday.

Worship

We are coming to praise and worship God with all our heart, minds and bodies. It is a time to "party" and also express our deep love to Him. We are intentional, earnest and involved in this praise and worship, so that our praise can affect the heavenly realms and spiritual atmosphere of the sanctuary, in order to prepare the way for the Word. We are clearing the room, or lifting the veil of any darkness present, so that the Word can penetrate our hearts. Our worship is focused on Jesus.

Word

We are then ready to "sit on the edge of our seats," ready and open for God to speak to us through the Word. It is our expectation that God will speak to each of us every Sunday from His Word. He is desiring to move in each of our lives so that Jesus may become more real in us and through us. He has a dream and a plan, and each Sunday is a crucial time for Him to move in accomplishing this plan. The Word is the means through which God will speak to us on a continuing basis --- it is His voice to us. We will hear what He wants to say to us through His Word.

Walk

We are up front in stating that we will ask each person to respond to the truth of the Word each week by "walking" to the altar --- a physical response and saying YES to Him and the truth received. The purpose of this response is so that the truth may be something that really changes my life and causes me to walk in this new truth from this point on. This can be a powerful time for anyone to bring any need or struggle to the altar and allow Him to be the answer. We are allowing the Word to speak to all our needs as we are willing to bring everything in our lives under the authority of the Word. It can be a time for individuals, couples or families to gather together for prayer so that they may "walk" in Christ.

Will you come each and every Sunday ready to actively participate and join us in what really matters for eternity?
