Question:
After the first several minutes, we noticed there was a pause about every other sentence that lasted probably 2 or 3 seconds. There was no interruption in content. If it broke off in the middle of a word, it finished the word after the pause.
Answer:
This is probably due to streaming the file to your player over a slower connection. The sermon MP3 files are about 12MB, which can take about 1 hour to download at 28.8 Kbaud, or 29 minutes at 56 Kbaud, for 35 minutes of sound. It is probably better to download the entire file by right clicking on the link to the left of the play button on our Sermon Archive page, and saving the file to your local drive for playback after the download is complete. An alternative is to pause the playback for a few minutes, and let the stream get ahead a bit, if you are close to fast enough in download speed.
