All Church Potluck

Our next all church will be Next Sunday, February 12 after our morning worship service.  Please plan on bringing a main and side dish to share, this month’s theme will be Asian foods.  Please plan on staying for great food and great fellowship.

COUPONS FOR TROOPS

With everyone’s efforts we were able to send $65,000 worth of coupons this week.  That brings our 2011 grand total to $346,900.00!!!!!   We will continue to send them every 6-8 weeks.

Missionary Books

Please check out the library for the new 2011/2012 missionary books and books on CD.  The children have their own set of books to check out and read.  We also have the past years books for your viewing pleasure.

Welcome Area

In the church foyer by the welcome counter there are books, Bibles, and other resources for you to take and distribute as you witness to your friends, neighbors and coworkers. Help yourself and/or donate items to help our efforts to spread the good news of Jesus Christ!

Work & Witness Trip

A team from Kankakee First Church is in Liberia, Costa Rica continuing work on a work & witness site.  Please pray for them.  They will be going back in June of this year, so if you have interest in going with please contact Phil Perino so he can get you more information.

Missionary Visit

We will be hosting the Millers that are heading up the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries in Madagascar.  Please read the insert about Ronald and Shelly Miller and their two children.  They will be here February 23^rd at 6pm.  Please bring some refreshments and snacks for a time of fellowship following their talk with us.  Please let your family and friends know out this talk so they can come and enjoy their time with us.

• Budgets $2500-$3000 PARTIALLY DONE! (Treasurer paid $2000)
• P.A. System $3000 ($3000 has come in)

The Results (giving as of 1/29/12)

• $8,620 has come in and several have committed to giving each month for the next several months.
• Give as the Lord directs. Pray for the need. Even if you consider it small, do something that takes faith
